I’ve always believed books find us at the right time. Review With Miss A began as my personal space to capture the stories that stayed with me — and now, it’s where I share honest reflections with readers who feel the same magic in words.
✉️ Request a Review
I’m happy to consider review requests from publishers, publicists, and authors whose books align with the genres I love to read.
If you’d like me to review your book, please email me at 📥 reviewwithmissa [at] gmail [dot] com with the following details:
- Book title, blurb, and genre
- Format available (print, e-book, or audiobook)
- Timeline or preferred review date
I read both physical and digital copies, and I’m comfortable reading on Kindle as well. Please note that accepting a book doesn’t guarantee a review, but I’ll always share my thoughts honestly and thoughtfully if it’s a good fit.
I do not accept self-published books at the moment.
📚 Genres I Read
I’m drawn to stories that make me feel something real — emotional, thrilling, or imaginative. These are the genres I enjoy most:
- Romance
- Thriller / Mystery / Psychological Suspense
- Fantasy
- Young Adult (Contemporary or Fantasy)
📦 Formats Accepted
My favorite format will always be paperback, but I also accept:
- Hardcovers
- Digital ARCs (Kindle or PDF)
- Audiobooks (on request basis)
🗓️ Review Timeline
I try to schedule reviews thoughtfully to ensure I can give each book the time it deserves. If your request is time-sensitive (for a release, blog tour, or promotional campaign), please mention the ideal review window in your email.
📝 My Review Style
Every review I write follows a simple and consistent structure that helps me share my honest thoughts while keeping things spoiler-free and reader-friendly.
I use the following format for all my reviews:
- Opening Line / Hook – A short line that captures my first impression or mood of the book.
- Short Summary (No Spoilers) – A brief, spoiler-free glimpse into the story.
- What I Liked – Highlights of what stood out, resonated, or made the book special.
- What I Didn’t Like (Optional) – If something didn’t work for me, I share it honestly but respectfully.
- Writing Style / Tone / Pacing – My thoughts on the author’s voice, flow, and overall feel of the story.
- Favorite Quote (Optional) – A line or moment that stayed with me long after reading.
- Final Thoughts / Recommendation – My overall reflection and whether I’d recommend it to other readers.
This structure keeps my reviews organized yet personal — focusing more on the experience of reading rather than just the summary. Every post is written with honesty, intention, and love for stories that make me feel something real.
